
Alcoholic coffee is an original way to enjoy coffee at the end of a meal or as a digestive. It's also a very pleasant alcoholic drink to warm up in winter. Here are 5 recipes for coffee with alcohol to discover and, of course, to drink in moderation.
1) Irish coffee
irish coffeeThis is quite simply the best-known recipe for alcoholic coffees. Don't hesitate to use a good whisky for this recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cl cane sugar syrup
- 2 cl single cream
- 4 cl coffee 3 cl whisky
- A large cup of hot coffee
First heat the whisky in a saucepan with the cane sugar. Be careful not to boil the mixture. Pour the mixture into an Irish Coffee glass. Gently add your hot coffee on top. Top up your glass with whipped cream or crème fraîche.
Tip : Enjoy your Irish coffee with a straw.
2) Spanish coffee
Here's a coffee with alcohol that you'll remember for a long time. Spanish coffee is a cocktail made with hot coffee.
Ingredients:
- 1 cl triple sec orange liqueur
- 1 cl white rum
- 1 cl coffee liqueur
- One hot coffee
- Sugar
- Liquid fresh cream
Heat the triple sec liqueur, white rum and coffee liqueur together over a low heat. Pour the mixture into an Irish Coffee glass. Flambé and immediately add the sugar. Pour your hot coffee over the top. Stir the mixture and add whipped cream until the glass is full. Enjoy immediately.
3) Virgin Irish Coffee
Here's a recipe for a non-alcoholic Irish coffee. Because Irish coffee is so well known, it is also popular without alcohol. This recipe allows you to flavour and sweeten your coffee in a different way.
Ingredients:
- 3cl strong black coffee
- 4 teaspoons Sirop Plaisir Irish Cream
- 1 spoonful of sugar
- Whipped cream
Pour the Irish cream syrup into an Irish Coffee cup. Add a teaspoon of sugar. Pour the hot coffee over and top with whipped cream to the top of the glass.
4) Mexican coffee
alcoholic coffee: Here's an original variation on Irish Coffee. Mexican coffee is prepared with Tequila!
Ingredients:
- 2 cl coffee liqueur
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 cl tequila
- 4 cl hot coffee
- Whipped cream
Pour the hot coffee into an Irish Coffee glass. Add the sugar and then gently pour the tequila and coffee liqueur over the top. Top it all off with whipped cream.
Tip : Sprinkle cocoa powder over the top of your Mexican coffee.
5) Grolle de café
Grolle de café is the alcoholic coffee par excellence, enjoyed in winter and when skiing. This drink is best enjoyed with friends or family.
Ingredients:
- A large hot coffee
- 3 teaspoons sugar
- A glass of triple sec orange liqueur
- Lemon and orange zest
Heat the triple sec orange liqueur in a saucepan over a low heat. Meanwhile, make a long cup of coffee and pour it into the grolle. Add the sugar, triple sec liqueur and lemon and orange zest.
Drink immediately.
