Description

The Yellow Coiron is an Ardèche liquor from a elixir of life elaborated in 1249 by Benedictus of Nuraie. This recipe comes from the Distillerie Deleuze in Villeneuve de Berg that the monks bought in 1930. It is composed of about fifty plants, flowers, barks and spices infused and macerated and then distilled. It is then sweetened with honey before being put in the barrels. it makes 43% alcohol.
